One of the many reasons I enjoy being a wedding photographer is because of the lovely variety of wedding styles I encounter. Every wedding is unique and different. More and more, I find myself photographing in locations other than churches and hotels. While it’s always nice to shoot in a space that I’m familiar with, I really love shooting in a location for the first time. These firsts are always fun and feed my creative soul! Morgan and Carey were married this past September at Morgan’s parent’s home. They had an intimate ceremony, with family only, and then a reception followed where extended family and friends were invited to attend. I cannot express enough how lovely their wedding was! Morgan has a keen eye for all things pretty and vintage…she even wore a vintage wedding dress. Together Morgan and Carey have such a happy sense of calm about them that working with them was so effortless and pleasant. Finally, one things that I adored about their wedding was having the opportunity to photograph Morgan and Carey in the art gallery that is located in the basement of Morgan’s parent’s home. What a beautiful environment for unique, beautiful portraits! Congratulations Morgan and Carey!
