Heather & Ken had what I would call a perfect May wedding day! Though it rained real briefly, it was during a time when everyone was inside anyway and then it passed as quickly as it came. Best of all, we were fortunate to have pretty, soft light prior to the ceremony when we were doing the majority of the portraits. More and more I have been photographing outdoor wedding that are in private residences. This was the case for Heather & Ken’s wedding as the wedding and reception took place in Ken’s parents’ home. The beauty of the grounds, combined with the intimacy of the smaller guest list, was the perfect scenario for celebrating Heather & Ken’s love on their wedding day!
