I do believe it’s true that birds of a feather flock together. More and more, I am getting the opportunity to work with couples who love their animals as much as I love mine. Although I have cats, I consider myself to be a big animal lover and have a genuine appreciation for dogs. When Heather, Ken and I were planning their engagement session they expressed interest in incorporating their two dogs(Shelby and Linus) into the shoot. I was certainly up for the challenge and immediately said “let’s do it.” The day we were scheduled to shoot ending up being really cold and rainy. Knowing that weather changes dramatically in Tennessee, from one day to the next, we re-scheduled our shoot for a couple days later. This was undoubtedly a wise choice. We had great weather and the fall colors ending up popping even more than they had a couple of days prior. I must admit Tennessee is so pretty in the fall…if only the colors would last a tad bit longer! Here are a few photos from Heather and Ken’s colorful engagement session.
