Carolyn & Nicholas were married at the intimate and charming Owens Chapel Church of Christ on the most beautiful September day. Their reception followed at the Peacock Ballroom in Lenox Village. Carolyn & Nicholas looked absolutely flawless on their pristine weather wedding day! Below are just a few of my favorites photos of the radiant couple and their special day!
Courtney & Andrew were married at the always beautiful Cheekwood during the Chihuly exhibit. Their ceremony was held in the Will’s Perrenial Garden & reception in Massey Display Hall/Botanic Hall. Not only were the couple glowing from the excitement of the day, they were also glowing from the intensive heat. Andrew’s face when he saw Courtney for the first time was priceless! Because they chose to see one another before the ceremony I was able to be up close and personal and document it all. You can see the series of the first glance in the album layout below. Despite the heat, Courtney & Andrew were amazing troopers with the photography. Courtney even managed to surprise Andrew with a brief appearance of their dog Bella. This is the first time I’ve experienced a pet being integrated into the photography of the day. When Courtney ran the idea past me prior to the wedding I was totally game, but then what would you expect from a fellow animal lover! Andrew was completely taken aback by Bella’s surprise visit , so Courtney’s scheme was a complete success. Since Courtney and Andrew are such animal lovers they decided in lieu of traditional wedding favors they made a donation to the ASPCA. When I learned of this I was very moved. What a great idea! Well there is certainly more that I could say about the beautiful couple and their stunning wedding day, but I think I will let the photos speak for themselves!

Katie and Doug beautiful wedding was held at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Chapel on Vanderbilt’s campus. Their reception was held at the always pleasurable, always delicious Park Cafe. Katie and Doug’s wedding was my first introduction to English Crackers…and I am not talking about something you eat. Katie and Doug’s crackers made a popping sound and when opened contained a crown. Pictures of guests wearing their crowns are shown towards the end of their album layout. These little treats were definitely the life of the party! I’m not sure who Katie & Doug ordered their crackers from, but the shared link is of a company that provides wedding crackers, in case you want to liven up your reception a little. As always, I am thrilled when a couple opts to do an album to showcase their wedding day. It was an absolute pleasure being a part of their wedding from beginning to end. I hope you enjoy the images of this beautiful couple and their pretty, colorful wedding day as much as I did!
